For dinner tonight, I wanted to make something simple and
filling for my hubby. I already had a bite with my mom so I wasn’t going to
be joining him for dinner. I had some ground beef in the fridge so I decided to
make stuffed taco crescent rolls for him. He loves this dish, it is right up his
alley.
What you will need:
2 cans of Crescent Rolls
1 lb. extra lean ground beef
1 packet of taco seasoning (I prefer the taco bell brand
seasoning)
You can add cheese, salsa, sour cream, or whatever veggies
you prefer into the mix. My hubby is very fussy so he likes it nice and
plain. Personally, I prefer to add salsa, plenty of cheese, and a bit of hot
taco sauce.
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375 or whatever your crescent rolls
indicate. Brown your ground beef and drain any excess fat. Add in the taco
seasoning with about ½ cup of water. Let simmer for a few minutes. Roll out the
crescent rolls flat onto a baking sheet. Spoon a little over a tablespoon of
the ground beef onto the rolls, and add any extra toppings you prefer. Roll
each crescent with the mixture inside and make sure to securely “fasten” the
dough. Bake for about 13-15 minutes depending on the type of crescent rolls you
have (the time will be listed on the packaging). Serve with a nice green salad; and voila!
An easy, yet filling dinner for the hubby!
Enjoy!
That dinner looks fabulous! What a great wife you are to cook for your hubby and not even eat it yourself!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! And it was definitely hard to not have a bite, but thankfully I was already too full from early to indulge! :)
DeleteI've had these before at a friend's house! So good!! We mixed a bit of cream cheese in them and they turned out great.
