Favourite Friday- Fragrance Edition

Good evening everyone!

I’ve had a busy, awesome day! My mom and I headed over to the US and shopped from 8:00AM until just now! I LOVE shopping in the states!! They have the best items!! There are so many products we can’t get in Canada!!
I am definitely glad to sit down and take a break after today though! J

Today is Favourite Friday again and today’s post is all about perfume! I have a few fragrances that I use daily, and some that I’ve used for almost 10 years.

Favourite Friday- Fragrance Edition

Gucci Envy Me
This is my all time favourite perfume. I’ve used this since the beginning of high school and it is my signature scent. I love love love this!

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue
This is such a nice scent. It’s one of my favourites! I’ve been buying this one for a little over 5 years.

Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb
My hubby bought this perfume at Christmas for me. I love the scent, and it comes in such a pretty bottle!

MAC’s Turquatic
I just purchased this scent a little while ago and I fell in love with it. It’s such a fresh, clean scent and I am absolutely obsessed!!

What are your favourite fragrances??

Do you have a signature scent that you always wear?

Chow Mein Noodle Casserole

Hi everyone!!
I hope the weather is as beautiful where you are as it is here!
The sun is shining and I don’t even have to wear a coat! Yay!! J

My mom and I decided to make an old recipe for dinner that my grandma had been making for years. It’s the ultimate comfort food and it takes me right back to my childhood.

Chow Mein Noodle Casserole

What you will need:

2 Lbs Lean Ground Beef
¼ Onion
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
Chow Mein Noodles

Directions:

Brown 2 pounds of lean ground beef with a quarter of an onion for taste. Butter a deep casserole dish and add chow mein noodles to fully cover the bottom. Layer cooked ground beef over the noodles. Add more noodles on top of the ground beef to cover the top. Place 1 can of cream of mushroom soup (you can also use cream of celery) over the ground beef (do not dilute). Sprinkle more noodles on top if desired. Cover the casserole dish with glass cover and bake at 350 for an hour. Enjoy!

This recipe is SO good. One of my favourite childhood meals!!

Grateful

Good afternoon!
I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful Saturday!

Unfortunately my hubby has to work today so I am enjoying it all by my lonesome!
I was thinking that I might do a home spa day for myself. A coconut oil and honey mask, moisturizing hair treatment, and a mani/pedi sounds perfect to me! Although I definitely prefer a real spa day, this is a perfect (free) alternative!

On another note, I’m pretty excited because we found out that there is a couple that is coming back for a fourth viewing today- I really hope this ends in an offer on the house!!
I know it hasn’t been very long since we listed our home (2 weeks)…but I feel like it’s been forever! I’ve realized in this process how impatient I really am! Haha!
Sometimes I stress myself out way too much and forget to look at the bright side.

I came across a beautiful picture on Pinterest that reminded me to be grateful for my blessings I have in my life and for the ones that are coming.

I love finding new pictures with quotes on them! J

Enjoy your weekend!!

Favourite Friday- Hair Edition

Hey everyone!!
I hope your week has gone well!
I’ve been so busy with packing up the house (still no offers..) and getting other matters settled.
It’s so much work!!
The weather has taken another turn and it’s now so cold and rainy out…I can’t wait until the warm weather is consistent!

Today’s post is the weekly tradition, Favourite Friday!

Favourite Friday- Hair Edition

Chaz Dean Wen Hair Care:
I love the Chaz Dean Hair Care line. It has done wonders for my hair. It is great for people with frizzy hair, and it really adds a nice shine to your locks! The lavender scent is my favourite; such a relaxing scent! LOVE this line!

Miracurl:

This is an amazing curling iron. It is so easy, and it has taken a ton of time off doing my hair. It’s a bit pricy but it is definitely worth it!

Bed Head Bubble Curling Iron Wand:
If you want curls like Taylor Swift, then look no further! This is so easy to use and the curls come out perfect every time!

Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray:
This spray is great for summer days when you want beachy, wavy hair. The salt water is great for creating a perfect, sunny look.

Bumble and Bumble Curl Defining Crème:
I have frizzy curly hair, so this product is great for transforming my hair into perfect, smooth curls. You don’t have to use much at all so the bottle lasts a long time!

Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum:
This serum is awesome. It smells amazing, it de-frizzes your hair, and it creates a smooth look. This is another product that doesn’t require you to use a lot, so the bottle lasts a very long time!

I can't live without these items. They are my favourite products that I've come across and they are definitely worth splurging on. I hope you like them if you try them! They work great for me! :)
